You’ve seen the hashtag…#ThanksMichelleObama
It seems as though social media is bringing attention to a good cause yet again. The hashtag ThanksMichelleObama has begun taking Twitter (and Facebook) by storm over the last few weeks. The photos accompanying these tweets were unreal. I cannot believe some of the meals that were shown. The sarcasm of the hashtag is brilliant! 😉
This week I came across the ultimate ThanksMichelleObama slam article.
While it wasn’t directly calling out the ThanksMichelleObama Twitter campaign, it was a real wakeup call to Americans. Or at least it should have been!
The article (found here) compared a week’s worth of school lunches in France versus America. The photo evidence was astounding.
What was even more astounding was the photos of American lunches…I understand the #ThanksMichelleObama even BETTER now.
These photos of American school lunches made me want to hurl. I cannot believe that this is what we serve our kids!
Now, this is not a blog post just to show you what we have and don’t have in America. You can actually make a difference. The more that you tweet #ThanksMichelleObama voicing your disgust of the American lunch program, the more awareness is brought to it.
