27 Tips to slim down in a matter of WEEKS!

  1. Toss out ALL of the junk food in your house. If it isn’t in the cabinet, you can’t snack on it!
  2. Invest in a reusable water bottle and vow to drink half of your body weight in ounces EVERY SINGLE DAY!
    I.E. A 160 lb woman would drink 80 ounces of water EACH day. That’s 10 cups of water. 🙂
  3. Lemon water is a great detox and weight-loss aid.
  4. Drink a glass of water when your feet hit the floor every.single.morning first thing.
  5. Plan your meals and snacks for the week.
  6. Hit the store. Fill your home with FRESH and ORGANIC as much as possible. NO pre-packaged goodies!
  7. Foods full of fiber will help keep you feeling fuller longer.
  8. Include protein in each meal-nuts/nut butters, cheeses/cottage cheese, yogurt/Greek yogurt, certain types of seeds, etc all contain protein!
  9. Learn about GOOD fats! Coconut oil is an INCREDIBLE source of good fat!
  10. Prepare your meals and snacks for the week so that they’re easily accessible when you have hunger.
  11. Eat small meals every 2-3 hours instead of 3 large meals.
  12. Chart your food and water intake. Make a note of when and what you eat and drink each day.
  13. DO NOT count calories.
  14. If you feel hungry, drink water.
  15. If you’re still hungry, make a HEALTHY choice for a snack.
  16. Cut back on your sugar intake.
  17. Cut back on your sodium intake.
  18. Limit carbs to before 3pm.
  19. Don’t eat ANYTHING after 7pm.
  20. Drink a glass of water before bed every night.
  21. Vow to include at least 15 minutes of movement everyday. As this become easier, increase your activity little by little.
  22. Enlist an accountability partner. Help each other to stay on track.
  23. Did I mention HALF OF YOUR WEIGHT IN OUNCES OF WATER DAILY? Because, seriously, it’s REALLY crucial!
